At the leading European trade fair, we inform you in Hall 5, Stand C14 about our current hands free kits. Also, we are pleased that this year for the the first time we will participate at the Car Media installation workshop represented by EMMA. Every day vehicles will be equipped with modern professional infotainment by a team of car electronics specialists . This way, experts will also be given further insights into the elegant installation. The Audio 2010 is naturally a must.
With the parallel trade shows AMITEC and AMISTYLE the Leipzig Trade Fair established a family that reflects the industry comprehensively.

Funkwerk Dabendorf meets EMMA

Funkwerk is pleased to have become an official EMMA partner. The European Mobile Media Association has been working since its establishment in 2000 to make technology and installation of quality products of the market segment of mobile infotainment measurable and communicable on clearly defined standards. It is now the world's largest association in this field. Also the EMMA Management is "proud to have won a real German innovator with its own production in Dabendorf near Berlin as an official partner."

Faster software updates with the Funkwerk “Updater”

There is now a new, convenient update tool available for the EGO Flash, EGO Look and Audio 2010 Bluetooth hands-free kits. The tool relays the update to the hands-free kit with ease via Bluetooth. For EGO devices, it is compatible from software update version 2.0 and a video explains the steps to be taken. This means that you can offer your customer another service and provide even faster assistance.

Cradle range expanded |

Thanks to our new development and production method, our range of cradles is constantly up to date.Thus began shipping this month of the charging cradle for the iPhone 3GS/3G. In November the according cradle for the Audio 2000 will be available. Furthermore the Audio 2000 cradle for BlackBerry 9700 is now available.
The charging holder for the Nokia 3720 for EGO Bluetooth hands-free lines and Audio 2010 is available since the third quarter, and the Audio 2000 cradle for the Nokia 3720 is available since the beginning of this month. |

Active Antenna by Funkwerk Dabendorf

The Active Antenna is the ideal solution in areas where broadband Internet connections are only possible via UMTS. Even though the signal may be strong outside the building, there cab be poor reception inside. The Active Antenna transfers the signal into the building without any losses. Even if reception is poor, for instance at the periphery of a mobile network cell, the solution from Funkwerk Dabendorf can still ensure an optimised network connection. Software update adds convenient voice functions |

The new software update 9.0 makes hands-free calling via the EGO Look and EGO Flash Bluetooth hands-free kits even more comfortable. Both systems can now be equipped with new voice functions that make telephoning whilst in the car even more convenient. The new features include telephone directory sorting by first name and surname, announcement of the caller’s name, voice output of the mobile phone’s navigation instructions via the car’s radio speakers, audible connection confirmation and call waiting function. Software update 9.0 is available to download now, free of charge, from the download centre here. |

USB hub makes saved data usable with the head unit - flexible software architecture saves costs and steps of development
Funkwerk Dabendorf GmbH, specialist for on-board communications solutions, has developed a USB hub that can be used in vehicles for charging or data transfer. In addition, the Brandenburg company has developed a software architecture that simplifies the integration of Bluetooth phones for automobile manufacturers. Both features can be implemented immediately.
